2004-February 23: Chinese New Year Banquet
Our mid-winter banquet was held at Jade in the Mashpee Commons. The food was wonderful, but our group was too large to fit into their private room, so were seated in the main dining room which didn't work very well for our meeting. Fortunately there was very little business to conduct. Jane McLaughlin was honored for finishing learning our Guang Ping form. Jane was just thrilled to finally be a finisher and said, "What a great feeling of accomplishment!" And of course, because it was Jane, there were lots of congratulatory hugs!
